Self Realisation!
This week I have been going through the Book 'The Bhagavad Gita' Introduced & Translated by Eknath Easwaran. The Bhagavad Gita is a 700-verse Hindu scripture that is a part of the ancient Indian epic, the Mahabharata. It is considered a sacred text in Hinduism and a guide for self-realization. Here are some key principles I have learnt from the Bhagavad Gita for Self-realization: Action without attachment: The Bhagavad Gita encourages action without attachment to the results, as attachment can lead to desire and ultimately suffering. Surrender to the divine: The Bhagavad Gita encourages surrender to the divine, known as Ishvara, as a means of attaining self-realization. Understanding the role of karma: The Bhagavad Gita teaches that actions have consequences, known as karma and that this cycle can be transcended through self-realization.
